David Pace lived in the San Francisco Bay Area where he taught photography at colleges and universities for more than twenty years. From 2009 - 2013 he was the resident director of Santa Clara University's Study Abroad Program in West Africa. Pace documented daily life in the rural village of Bereba in the country of Burkina Faso, where he photographed annually from 2007 to 2016. In 2019 he published Images In Transition with collaborator Stephen Wirtz. His work has been exhibited and published internationally.
