I am at a dynamic and vibrant point in my photographic career – a nexus formed from the cumulative and varied experiences of the past few decades. It is a time of summoning my creative intuition, interpersonal skills, and seasoned perspectives to foster new work that has meaning, substance, and relevance.
My work spans fine art, documentary and commissioned projects. A passionate curiosity about people, cultures, technology, and the environment is a guiding force in my photography and life. I build well-executed productions paired with an approach that encourages collaboration and is open to unexpected opportunities. Increasingly, I seek projects that provide the occasion to study a subject in depth. This may be realized by documenting the evolution of a subject for years, or by recording the intensity of a single day. Within a diverse range of photographic interests, my project work focuses on issues of sustainability, in particular, renewable energy.
Changing Perspectives: Renewable Energy & the Shifting Human Landscape is my current long-term project.
